Good vibes only, thank you APIDays Finland 2019!

We share special moments, emotions, thoughts and feelings in social media. What would be better way to jump back to the last week conference than go through the APIDays Finland twitter wall?

House was full when Mehdi Medjaoui opened the conference on Tuesday morning. APIdays conferences are organized in over ten countries and the interest in the APIDays conference series is increasing.

The theme of the Finnish event 'Transforming industries and experiences' was strongly visible on both days. YIT Vice President Vesa Pirinen was a Keynote speaker of day 1 and opened the conference with his talk about How to boost traditional business by IoT and Analytics. The second day opening keynote speaker was Hanna Pikkusaari from Kesko and on her session, we focused on Architecting connected buildings.

Animal, construction, traffic, energy, healthcare, media and banking industries were presented in the conference and we all got an exquisite opportunity to hear experiences with APIs in different industries, increase our expertise, and pick new approaches.

Sunny and warm weather treated our conference attendees on both days! The venue was located right next to the Vantaankoski and during the breaks the sound of running water crown the experience.

During the days we had sessions in the Main Stage, breakout session room and a workshop room. After the sessions and workshops, the audience took part in the discussion (even that is unusual in Finland!!) and we noticed many conversations between speakers and the audience after the talks. And as you can see, our speakers collected big audineces made the rooms look very small!

In partners village, our sponsors take care of attendees and between networking, discussions, and among other things you could check are you still awake on IBM Finland reaction wall!

I can only smile when I go through these and many other tweets from the conference. The event was a success and all team want to give big thank you for our sponsors, speakers, and volunteers who make the event possible and all the attendees who came to Helsinki!
